SMEG and BauBox Team for the WestEdge Design Fair

SMEG Returns to the Barker Hangar for the First Time Since 2015

Oct 1st 2019

Two innovative, industry-disrupting brands team up for the WestEdge Design Fair. BauBox and SMEG have united to co-present an innovative kitchen suite at the fair, scheduled for Oct. 24-27, 2019 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

BauBox, the breakout brand of the millennium, whose concept of engineering, producing, and stocking has revolutionized the American kitchen design concept leveraging European cabinetry, will debut its Noir finish, featuring their signature, unique box design, and brand flexibility.

SMEG, the Italian appliance manufacturer known for breaking design norms to offer wildly-creative and popular finishes on its line of small electrics, as well as major appliances, will highlight its all-new Linea series of built-in appliances with touch-screen controls, food-driven menu system, and reimagined design.

“Teaming with BauBox cabinetry is truly a pleasure for SMEG.  It demonstrates that being a bit different can provide a compelling solution that consumers just can’t easily replicate elsewhere,” stated Paul McCormack, National Sales & Marketing Director for SMEG USA, Inc.  “Different is what we at BauBox are all about,” added Michael Fein, Regional Manager for BauBox. “With our quality engineering, US warehouse of immediately-available stock, and significant options, designers, and our shared clients, finally have a solution for European cabinetry that doesn’t require lengthened lead-times.”

The WestEdge Design Fair is a three-day event that offers the best in modern design, all in an environment designed to engage, entertain, and inspire. The Fair offers the opportunity to shop from premium home furnishing brands, many new to the West Coast, and meet the designers behind thousands of inspiring products. In addition, attendees gain insight from leading names in the design industry with a full series of educational programs and special events.
