Preparation time: 70 minutes
Recipe for: -
6/7 apples • 200 g raspberries and blackberries • 220 g flour • 200 g cold butter • 70 g cane sugar • 1 pinch cinnamon • Zest of 1 orange, grated • 130 g caster sugar
Put the flour, cinnamon and the two types of sugar in a bowl with the orange zest, add the butter in small cubes and work with your fingers until the mixture resembles large crumbs.
Peel and halve the apples, remove the core and cut the flesh into thick slices.
Sprinkle the bottom of a ceramic oven dish with a thin layer of the crumble mixture, then lay the apples and berries on top, alternating between the two.
Cover with the rest of the crumble mixture and bake in the oven at 180° for 40/50 minutes, until the top has turned a golden colour.
Serve with cinnamon-flavoured whipped cream or zabaglione.
